There have been multiple truck and car loads of donated food, clothes, pet food, linen, shoes, books, and furniture arriving from North Queensland. Locals have donated out there too. A big thank you to all who have made that happen.

The main storage facility for these items is at 735 Mary Valley Road, Long Flat (little white church). John and Beck are hosting this on their property. Call Beck them on 0466 251 123

The gates are open 7 days a week from 7am to 5pm. Beck is there all day every day.

There are already volunteers helping to sort the goods. They could use some more help if anyone has time.

You can pick up the things you need directly from the facility, or call Beck and she can probably arrange delivery. They have volunteers out in the affected areas locating those in dire need, making a list of their needs, picking the goods from the facility, then returning to supply them. What a great effort.

They are currently looking for whitegoods.

For those of you who wish to donate items, this would be a good place to take them. They also take cash donations and give it to needy families that turn up at the facility.
